Year 6 Camp Day 4

So the penultimate day began with a lie in until 7:30am with everyone having to be woken up! Following breakfast everyone packed their bags ready for an amazing day out on the moors! Some had to repack two or three times whilst they remembered everything that they needed but we got their in the end!

So we all god saddled up on our mountain bikes and cycled out to the moors. Along the side of the railway track and off road! Ritchie who hadn't had much experience of riding a bike did amazing well and completed the 3 mile ride all by himself. Getting back in to our wetsuits was another fun half hour but once they were on we were off in to the gorge. Plunging in to deep pools and clambering up waterfalls. Tullulah demonstrated fantastic teamwork helping everyone across the slippery rocks and ensuring they were safe. After peeling our wet-suits off and eating some lunch it was up the rock face with our instructors guiding us, whilst our team mates le out the ropes and encourages us where to place our fingers and toes. The views were breath taking.

Back on the bikes and home to have showers and preparation for DISCO night!!!

Pizza for tea gave us a welcomed boost and then there was only one thing left to do - let out our dancing moves!!! Matti, Eleanor, Ethan and Maddison have not stopped dancing all night.

Now its hot chocolate, pack bags and the final sleep before our last morning at Okie! It has been a blast and will be very much missed.
