Welcome to Earth Class!

The adults who teach and support Earth Class are Mrs Butler (Class Teachers), Mrs Paddison, Miss Gardiner and Mrs Wiles.

This term our PE days will be on Monday and Thursday. Please ensure children come to school in the correct kit on this day and that long hair is tied back. We do not allow the children to wear earrings for PE, so please can they be removed on these days or taped over.

We will be doing Forest School on a Wednesday afternoon. Please can send the children in with suitable clothing for outdoor activities (we we be doing this even if it rains) to change in to at lunch time.

We ask that the children bring their book bags in every day, so we can hear them read and change books if necessary. Each Friday, we shall be visiting our school library and will encourage the children to bring home a sharing book. This book is for you to enjoy together, with the adult reading most of the text.

Homework is given out every Friday and is due back in on the following Wednesday.

Spellings will be given out each Friday to practise at home for the children to have a spelling check the following Friday.

Toy Box Outcome - Spring 1 - after learning about toys from the past the children were challenged for their take home task to create their own board game. We spent a wonderful afternoon playing them all.
