March 2020 - Art Project
Children in Years 3/4/5 and 6 have been working with local artist, Zac Greening, on our exciting S.O.S (Save Our Seas) light installation. Pupils visited Zac in his gallery and worked on creating the melted plastic bottles which were used as a large component for the art work which can be seen on the front fence of the school. Every child in the school made a marine animal to fit inside a bottle (like a message in a bottle) which will have a letter to the Prime Minister asking him to consider the impact of over fishing and the pollution on our oceans, wildlife and habitats. A huge thank you Zac for working with us on this project.
